S.S.S John F. Kennedy

Student Success Statement

“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to healthy body; it is the basis of a dynamic and creative activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew:  that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”

Reflection:

What I believe John F. Kennedy is trying to say is the idea of having a fit body is to be healthy not to impress and overestimate yourself by what others think of you.

Example:

If I were to be a bright intelligent young girl I would do the right thing which would be to ignore them and lead my-self in my own direction. Not to follow the rest and become like whom they happen to be. Weather if it were to be fit and have a stunningly impressive body or greater looks, but to just be happy and satisfied for what my body is. Obviously the key work is self-respect. Mainly because we want to respect our body by giving it healthy digestion and system. Not to over flow it with drugs that can make you skinnier or any junk for that matter that can cause diabetes.
