Duties and
Responsibilities:
Their
responsibility is to specialize in preventive oral health. The main common
things they do is preventive services to promote and maintain good oral health.
They also help patients develop behaviors that promote oral health and the
importance of practicing these behaviors. They other main thing they do is therapeutic;
treatments meant to stop diseases and maintain healthy issues in the mouth.
Salary: 70,210
Education:
If
any student would like to become a professional oral care they would have to
earn a associates degree in dental hygiene. Along with being licensed. They may
also need a bachelor’s or master’s degree or clinical practice in public or
school programs. Student’s in high school may need to take the courses of
biology, chemistry, and mathematics.
Reflection:
I personally would
not like to become a professional oral care helper. Mainly because I’m not
really into any of the medical or body part. However it is a very interesting
job. That a lot of people may consider as a career.
