Duties and Responsibilities:

Health Science Librarian’s collect and organize medical information. They as well help practitioners find the information for patient care, education, research, and administrations.

They select and require those librarians to research for books, journals, and other library materials. They as well establish electronics and database information systems. They only collect these and put them into catalogs. They then take supervision over library technicians.

Librarian Technicians assist those librarians to organize collections, shelves books, and manage circulation desks.

Salary:

$ 20,000-$ 30,000 (Librarians Technicians)
$ 35,000- $55,000 (Librarians)

Education:

Students should take high school challenging courses in information management, science, math and English.

Health sciences library technician training varies by employer. Some provide on the job training, although all prefer students complete library technician programs at a community college or technical school. Associate’s degrees can be earned in many of these programs
