Duties and Responsibilities:
Home Health aide usually work with companies
that provide in home assistance to those who injured, elderly, or ill along
with disabled customers. Their duties
are to take blood pressure, temperature and pulse of patients. They help the
patients get out of bed, take baths and dress. They also serve them their daily
meals as well help them out in the chore of the house. For say making beds and
cleaning the rooms.
Salary: $ 8,000 - $18,000
Education:
Most employers prefer nursing assistants and
aides to have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Some vocational schools
and community colleges offer training programs.
Reflection:
This job seems to me like something I wouldn’t
like to be apart with not because of their age or problem but, because they
seem to need more attention including affection with one of their family member’s
instead of an assistant. An assistant nurse would be something a nurse should
do as to take care of the patient with medical care.
