Duties and Responsibilities:

They do the following:

º    Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty
º    Determine the extent of communication problems by having a patient complete basic reading and vocalizing tasks or by giving standardized tests
º    Identify treatment options
º    Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan
º     
Salary:

$69,870

Education:

Those whom would like to become a speech pathologist have to get a speech-language pathologist master’s degree. They as well must need to join the council on academic accreditation. They however must be licensed in almost all states. Their license must require at least a master’s degree and supervised clinical experience.

Reflection:


This job in particular to me seems very difficult especially with the doing of being licensed all around, in every state.
