Neurologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Neurologists deal with the diagnose and treatment of all categories of conditions and disease involving the central and peripheral nervous system. They specialize in neurology and train to investigate, or diagnose and treat neurological disorders. They may also be involved in clinical research and clinical trials  as well as basic research or translational research.

Salary: $ 60,000

Education:

Students who would like to become a Neurologist may need to complete a postgraduate training  in neurology after graduation from medical school. They must also attend  10 – 13 years of college education and clinical training. This training obtains a four-year undergraduate degree, a medical degree. Along with a one year residency.  

Reflection:


A neurologist to me seem very interesting because they study and discover a new diagnose product that can be given. Which can than prevent people from any sickness or ill. So as a go along picking from one of the careers that I might come to like, I would choose a neurologist.
